2012: Musicians bursting with energy decide to share their artistic specificities to create Dúshlán,  today a major group of the musical scene in the area of Annecy and Geneva.

Dúshlán, "The Challenge", in Gaelic, is a new sound, a unique musical identity, grounded in Irish music.

Our repertoire is a sophisticated mixture of reels, jigs, hornpipes, laments, ballads, polkas, airs and songs, stemming from Irish history, passed on from the harpists of the XIth century Gaelic clans to the present day.

Not limiting itself to Ireland, Dúshlán is open to the broader traditions of the celtic musics of  Scotland, Brittany, Wales, Cornwall, Galicia and the Asturias (Spain), and to bluegrass, which itself is a mixture of  the American blues and  the Anglo-Irish traditions.
